This is an exciting opportunity for a field based Ground Investigation Site Technician to join an enthusiastic team. ListersGeo are geotechnical consultants and deliver ground investigation and geotechnical services to a wide range of clients across the UK. Based at our main head office near Towcester, Northamptonshire, we require a full time field based Ground Investigation Site Technician to undertake fieldwork duties at sites across the UK.
This will involve principally outdoor work in order to undertake a range of site based tests including, but not limited to; plate load tests, CBR determinations using a variety of equipment, gas/groundwater monitoring, soakaway/infiltration testing, hand augering and excavating foundation inspection pits, preparing soils samples from boreholes and trial pit excavations and assisting logging engineers. Training will be provided where necessary.
Awareness of construction site health and safety, and possession of Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, Cable Avoidance Tool (CAT) certification, would be advantageous for this role.
