Waste Soil Classification
Soil arising from earthworks and groundworks excavations is classified as waste if it does not have a certainty of use either on-site or elsewhere. Waste soils legally require classification prior to leaving site.
ListersGeo undertake assessments of the soil using chemical testing results to classify the soil in accord with the European Waste Catalogue and latest Landfill Regulations.
If the soil is to be sent to landfill, waste acceptance criteria (WAC) must be satisfied.
